We are dedicated outdoorsman with a passion for hunting & fishing that only the true outdoor sportsman can begin to understand. Were not your average weekend warriors in no regards of the term. We have spent countless days in the field hunting waterfowl, turkeys, pheasants, dove, quail & deer. When the long hot summer days start to give way to the first signs of autumn & the time between sunrise & sunset becomes shorter the internal clock sounds the alarm, the anticipation of another fall hunting season kicks into high gear. The memories of prior years start flooding through our mind, body & whole being like the early morning wake up calls, dark angry skies filled with the sound of whistling wings, rain heavy clouds pushed inland off the Pacific Coast by forceful South winds up from the Gulf Coast of Mexico followed by the face numbing crystal clear blue skies, bitter cold northern winds driven down from the Pacific Northwest along with the eagerness of our four legged hunting buddies the wait is almost over. Hunting season is knocking on every outdoor enthusiasts door. The Columbian Blacktail deer is our first pursuit of the year, this means the archery season & hopes of respectable historical gold country foothill bucks still in their summer velvet. Without missing a beat the scatter guns make their official debut into the fall for our second pursuit the mourning dove which also means the K9 units get to make their long awaited return to the field for full duty, feathers will replace plastic bumpers. As daylight hours continue to shorten archery deer & dove season have come & gone which means one thing to us here at Western Outdoor Pursuits! Waterfowl season is lurking right around the corner & as every hardcore waterfowl junky knows this is no time to sit back & take a breather all the final adjustments to gear & blinds have to be made, waterfowl themed shows are ramped up, calling contests, seminars, dog tune ups & the list goes on. For us here at Western Outdoor Pursuits the pursuit never ends but simply rolls into our next quest. When the cold wet winter storms gradually turn to warm spring days we don't hang our boots up so to say. This can only mean one thing it's time to return to our foothill stomping grounds. Mallard, widgeon & goose decoys are cleaned & stored for the summer & the turkey decoys are brought out, single reed duck calls are replaced with latex diaphragm, box & friction calls. It's Rio Grande time in the west & we'll be runnin & gunnin for the CA long beards in search of the Boss Tom with both archery equipment & shotguns. Before the oil even begins to dry on our trusty long guns were eagerly shifting gears & reaching for graphite & mono. Our Pursuit continues right into the great San Francisco Bay for halibut, salmon & stripers or into the Sacramento, San Joaquin river delta system for world class black bass, sturgeon, stripers & catfish. The pursuit wouldn't be complete if we didn't take the time to pull the Jon boat out & try our hand at chasing the abundant buffalo carp that the lakes & rivers have to offer with bows outfitted in fishing gear. To say we are hardcore would be an understatement. We are the descendants of outdoorsman steeped in tradition which flows through our veins & drives us to continue the Pursuit!

It is through this day in day out dedication, passion & desire we put the gear to the test. You name it we have probably, shot it, blown it, stretched it, cut it, cast it, tied it, struck it, ran it, drove it, patterned it or attempted it!
